Audata was founded by Keegan Bakker (Twitter, LinkedIn) in 2015, who still serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as well as a Director of the Company. Today, Audata is governed by its Board of Directors, and managed by its Executive Team, who are listed below.
Keegan Bakker (Founder & CEO)
Keegan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Audata. A self-taught coder and former radio presenter with experience working with Australia’s biggest media brands, Keegan first created Audata as a hobby project for he and his team at Fox FM (Melbourne) to use in 2015. However, the product spread like wildfire, and quickly established itself the industry standard across Australia & New Zealand. In 2019, Keegan made the decision to leave radio and move to leading Audata full time.
Keegan’s demonstrated passion for technology-driven innovation throughout his media career has found it’s true embodiment in Audata, where he continues to lead the company’s vision & help some of the worlds biggest media brands connect with their audiences in a media landscape that is changing more rapidly than ever before.
Adrian Brine
Adrian is Audata’s Director of Growth. Adrian has previously served as a board member and advisor for Audata, and came onboard in a full time executive position in 2021. Before joining Audata, Adrian established a reputation as one Australia’s most respected radio programmers with Southern Cross Austereo (ASX: SXL), as both Content Director of Fox FM, Australia’s most listened-to radio station, and then as Assistant Head of the Hit Network. Adrian is also currently an MBA candidate.
