IS10042 - Message delays from Optus Customers

Description

It has come to our attention that some of our Australian customers are experiencing randomly occurring periods where SMS and MMS messages from customers on the Optus network are being delayed. This may be an issue with the connection between the Optus network and our own carrier partner. We are currently investigating the issue with our carrier partner.

Optus have communicated that the issue is now resolved. We have not seen an occurrence of this issue recently, however will continue to monitor and re-open this incident if necessary.

We are aware of the current issue affecting some of our Messenger services.


Our carrier is currently still investigating the issue as a matter of urgency and we will update users as soon as possible.
