In 2022 we kicked off another round of our annual Audata Promo Star competition. We were thrilled to announce Gary Pointon from NZME as our major winner who took out the top prize, a round trip to Prague to enjoy the RadioDays Europe Conference.
We checked in with Gary post trip and this is what he had to say...
"Prague was amazing, the people were friendly and welcoming, the city was vibrant and gave me four seasons in a day, even snow! The RadioDays Conference really opened my eyes to how other radio stations operate around the world. I found it to be fast, efficient and interesting. There was never a dull moment as there were multiple lectures on at the same time and you could choose what interested you most. I learnt a lot about what our station is doing really well and what we could be doing better. My boss is now bored of me constantly pulling out pictures of the conference to show him".
We love that Gary had such an amazing experience and can't wait to see who our next Audata Promo Star will be.
